Focusing on young people, the foundation supported activities in education and health to relieve suffering and equip individuals for the future.

The Foundation also operated several employment programmes for young people and the grant fund Les Mills Fund for Children.

Lisa developed and maintained the Foundation’s visual branding over two decades, across social channels, campaigns and all external messaging, including two rebrands to support the transition from Hilton in the Community Foundation to the DM Thomas Foundation for Young people.

DM Thomas Foundation for Young People was a children’s charity dedicated to transforming the lives of young people across Europe. Over the two decades that they operated, they managed to change the lives of 4,054,358 young people, giving them the opportunities, skills and tools to be the very best that they can be.

As a grant making charity, the foundation was set up for the primary purpose of giving money away to other charities. Over the 20 years that they were operational and Lisa worked with them, the constant challenge was to communicate clearly and effectively to attract high quality applications from grantees as well as appeal directly to supporters. Lisa worked on many campaigns to achieve this as well as producing their annual Impact Report along with other marketing collateral.

The pandemic, combined with growing demand, rising operating costs and a significant income drop meant that the Foundation could no longer continue their amazing work and the doors were sadly closed in 2021.
