BANG! brings the flavours of Bangladeshi cooking to the home kitchen through scratch curry kits. Lisa was engaged to create a vibrant brand and packaging around their existing logo that could be built out to create gift sets, a website and carry through their social channels.

the brief

The owners wanted to bring the flavours and colours of Bangladesh alive through graphics to use on their packaging and marketing assets.

Kew Creative was asked to develop an illustration that could be adapted across their range of kits and be instantly recognisable as BANG!

Lisa took the Royal Bengal Tiger as her starting point. The national animal of Bangladesh, every Bangladeshi admires it as a symbol of strength and courage. The tiger plays a central role in the Bangladeshi New Year celebrations when festivities take to the streets with people wearing or carrying colourful masks, many of which depict the face of the tiger.

The final tiger face illustration was then re-worked in different colourways to represent the various kits in the BANG! range.
